Mirror's Edge on 360 is way better, not just less jagies, but more effects, faster loading and better controls.
Always bet on 360. :heartbeat

LOL playing Mirror's Edge on a console.
LOL

Physx is totally useless in the pc version considering it's not even noticeable unless you stop, pick up a weapon, point it, and shoot to see some funky cloth tears. It's not fucking revolutionary.
On the actual gameplay front, it must absolutely be played with a goddamn gam-pad (my preference was for the 360 one). In that sense at least, the two versions are equal but those screens do look sharp. Resolution and AA never seemed to be a problem on the consoles with this game's graphical style but I'm sure all versions were 60 fps.

Console versions are 30 fps, and physx is noticeable since it isn't just the cloth, but the sparks, debris, and cloth effects. Both console versions also have aliasing issues (worse on the PS3) which kinda clashes with the clean aesthetic of the game. But none of that really matters since all three versions are great. Also the PC version has native 360 controller support if you prefer that.

The hands look bug nasty on the 360 version, other than that you're probably right. Still jaggy as hell, though.

He probably tried to play it on his macbook... haha, silly tieno

Is Tieno ever correct?
Is demi ever correct?

Oh really?
so it adds eye candy. my point exactly.
-
Sexy eye candy that is unobtainable on consoles. :drool
-
So what if it's eye candy, morans? Why not just stick with the PSX/N64 if gameplay is the only thing that matters?

So what if it's eye candy, morans? Why not just stick with the PSX/N64 if gameplay is the only thing that matters?
because the gameplay is not conducive to the masturbation over the eye candy, unlike say Gears of War or Crysis. you move around pretty fast and can't really notice those effects outside of the gunplay and a few scripted events. I'm not making any blanket statement about PC games, just this particular game.

I moved around really fast and noticed all the neat little PhysX effects. I guess my eyes are just really good lol!
-
ME is not even that fast. The extra moving flags, sparks, breaking windows, etc are easily noticeable. I've no idea what Nintendho is talking about.

Never played it. Is it just a more primitive version of Demon's Souls?

Superior version available today for just few euros
GAME has decided to discount Mirror's Edge on Xbox 360 to a ludicrous £2.99.
This is a "Deal of the Day" and only has "very limited stock". Move quickly.
The game's hero Faith also moves quickly, as she runs across rooftops, launching herself into the air and ping-ponging herself up walls.
