Good luck staying awake.

Quote from: Chicago Reader
Using blasts of shrill, high-decibel noise in place of actual scares has become a common horror-movie tactic, the cinematic equivalent of botox, silicone, and penile-enhancement surgery.

Quote from: Roger Ebert
I stared at A Nightmare on Elm Street with weary resignation. The movie consists of a series of teenagers who are introduced, haunted by nightmares and then slashed to death by Freddy. So what?

Quote from: Miami Herald
Too many more remakes as dull and bland as A Nightmare on Elm Street could kill off horror movies for good.

Quote from: AP
The novelty has long since worn off, and cheap, generic scares are all that are left

Quote from: Entertainment Weekly
I'm not convinced that repeated assaults to the groin, bee stings to the eyes, raccoon pee in the mouth, or skunk stink sprayed head to toe is the way to teach ecological balance.

Quote from: Village Voice
The animals here don’t talk; that’s the movie’s one saving grace.

Quote from: Arizona Republic
A stupid, mean-spirited little movie that ranks down there with the worst in recent memory. Distant memory, too

Quote from: AV Club
Furry Vengeance is fundamentally about Brendan Fraser getting beat up by creepily anthropomorphized animals. Proceed at your own risk.

I predict both will be head and shoulders above Scott Pilgrim.

Not surprised. I went from "this is going to suck" to "Jackie Earl Haley? The only good part of Watchmen? As Kruger? YES." to "meh." pretty quickly. Now I see I was correct the first time.
