Oh my god it's finally out

Going to download this in a minute. Hopefully the achievements are as hard as MS3.

This game has the same forced vaseline filter that MS3 had. Disgusting. :yuck

I guess I'll still buy it anyway.

we had a good couple of months recently where the majority of games were 800 points again, but yeah a lot of games are 1200 now. I still consider 800 to be the standard price

Because Metal Slug is still a kickass series that gives you more action than you modern day wusses can handle!  MS is a real man's action game!  But, if you're too used to original and evolving game series like MADDEN and Call of Duty, where every new installment is completely different, then I can see how the variety of action, strategy, and and survival in Metal Slug can be too much for you.

1200pts is a bloody steal for this game, it would have easily been a disc release last gen, and still was in the portable space.  You get a game of perfect length that's meant to be replayed, with multiple routes through each level, lots of secrets, and an in-depth combat school that'll keep you busy for a long time.

Oh, and the secret of the game is to not hold the right direction while occasionally tapping the shooting button and the start button to constantly continue!

bitch i know metal slug, i've played most of the other games!  but the demo level itself was totally plain and boring as fuck.  seemed indistinguishable from any other metal slug level i've played

The filter is why I'm not buying it.  :(

They should give you OPTIONS like Final Fight Double Impact does. smh at this shit.

The filter does look a little better than it did in MS3, to be fair. And the port is better too because this time we actually have level select and red blood along with some extras modes. But still, this is a pretty weak entry in the series. I'd rather just continue working on no-missing the final mission in MS3 than play through this again.

I kinda liked MS6, but the general rule is play 1-3, avoid the rest.

Don't you wish that Konami would follow SNK's lead and port Contra 4 to XBLA?
