I am visiting MrSingh in Japan and we got to go to this giant mega-arcade near his place. There we got to play the most fucked up game ever, ACTION DEKA.
In it you control JAKE TERRY (http://i47.tinypic.com/6fa3wk.jpg) and his partner LUKE STEWART (http://i47.tinypic.com/35lhq3n.jpg)
who has the air of lavender about him.
Together you will beat the shit out of minorities like this guy.

His name is BEEFY.

I cannot possibly explain how fucked up this game is. The controllers are basically two boxing gloves and about 75% of the game consists of you punching things. There's some gunplay too but it's pretty bad/inaccurate. And at the end of the shooting sequences you see your agents flippantly THROW AWAY THEIR GUNS and say "WE WON'T NEED THESE."
Please tell me someone else at the Bore has played this AMAZING game.

HOLY SHIT

Crossing my fingers for a Natal port.

Haha, I remember this game. I never really played it that much since I hate these types of motion-controlled games, after awhile my arms start to get annoyed and cramped. I want to say that it got an overseas release, but I don't remember.
Konami also has a game that uses a more advanced version of that technology called (I think) Mocap Sports. I thought it was bloody awful when I played it, but I think that the technology definitely has potential.
Anyway, best arcade game now is MUSIC GUN GUN! I've become somewhat addicted to it, despite having such a strange premise. I guess I like the song selection, the remixes of oldskool Taito songs are amazing, and the game actually lets you set the volume! Goddamn, that's a feature that should be standard with all music games!

Originalz, was this game at the arcade near my old apartment? I think it was and I regret not trying it now. :lol
Also what was the name of that FPS where you play as KIDS SHOOTING EACH OTHER UP IN SCHOOL?
-
When the dude came flying though the wall at them, that was pretty awesome. :lol
-
lol
The title sounds like a Sega game, as does the polygon count and artstyle, but I'm guessing it's not?

It's Konami.
-
How's that racialist? That looked like a pretty realistic portrayal of an average day in the shoes of a LAPD officer.
-
I tried this out in April. :lol

They might have had it at Leisure Land, it was at Round One for awhile too. The game is a few years old now though so I doubt it's still there.
That awesome FPS was CYBER DIVER! Heh, and people wonder why Japanese devs aren't good at making FPS games!

I must find this. Maybe we can port it to the US and re-art it as the sequel to that controversial Columbine shooter.

I know there is Mocap Boxing where you put on boxing gloves and punch at a screen as it tracks your body. don't know if they expanded past that. Mocap boxing isn't good and if I'm gonna play a game where I punch things, it will be that Hokuto no Ken arcade game where you physically punch pads that pop out.
I like this kind of stuff. The Police 911 / 24/7 are a blast to play in arcades. Leaning around bullets and ducking IRL is fun despite looking crazy to any onlookers.
I'm trying to remember the name but there was also an arcade game where you used a sword. Mazen or something like that. It was kinda like a Wii game before the Wii.
-
Yeah, Mazan was the sword game, that shit gave me crazy wrist strain!
Mocap boxing is a really old game, the technology has gotten better since but I guess the general concept is remaining the same. Must not be that popular since there are so few games that use it.
