I've run through so many of the walkthroughs in the internet and none seem to work.

just now i did this one:

seems pretty easy. went through the steps. i got the last one where he was testing the inputs but when i go to the PS3 controller icon in hardware and printers and right click > game controller settings, there's nothing in the list. it's supposed to read the Motioninjoy drivers but it doesn't. i dunno why. i did everything documented in the steps but it still doesn't work.

i'm only doing this because i dont want to buy a fuckin wired xbox 360 controller but i'm close to just doing that.

anyone have any experience doing this at all?

I got it to work on w7 64 pre-release version. It took A LOT of effort, and I wish I knew what sites helped me but stick to the motionjoy site there should be detailed instructions there and I think that's what got it to work for me..You're going to have to go into the display drivers and edit shit to get this to work.

Thing is, when I installed it on my vista system I was dreading how much it'd be like it was on W7, but it's easy peasy to install on Vista.

Are you pressing f9 or whatever when windows boots up?
