I want to see it.  I don't really care about the stereotype.  Looks like a fun movie that could entertain me if I gave it a chance instead of shitting all over it.  Will watch.

I like many aspects of Scott Pilgrim but I really, really want to punch Scott himself, and Cera only exacerbates that. I think he reminds me of my younger brother too much.

I've heard varying reports of Cera's performance; some who've seen it say he's great in it, some say he's the weakest link.  Oh well, I don't really care, I'm not seeing it for Michael Cera, I'm seeing it for all the awesome effects/direction/Edgar Wright influence.

I did go to a screening and you don't have to have any knowledge of the books.  This acts as a wonderful adaptation in that you can go in absolutely blind.  Edgar Wright and Michael Bacall did a good job on the story paring it down to the needs of a film while retaining a the elements which made Scott Pilgrim so good as a book

I've always found public transportation to be too distracting to read.  That, and I was always paranoid about missing my transfer, which would easily turn my hour+, 10 mile trip into a two hour+, 10 mile trip.

When I used to ride the bus daily, I'd always run into some bullshit. There was a dude with mouth cancer who's jaw was basically gone, and he'd walk up to you and mumble shit to you, asking for money. Eventually he started wearing a mask over his mouth thankfully.
