I liked it a lot but better than TDK? nicca please!Exactly, it doesn't even need to be said.
I haven't even seen it and I don't agree.
Batman Begins was a million times better than the Dark Knight.:yuck
Such a bad movie
The ending and beginning did suck, but Batman Begins was a big pile of dog shit that you step in while wearing socks running around in the yard as a kid and it sort of squishes through the fabric and you have to peel it off but you still have shit juice on your foot and you're not quite sure what to do with the sock so you just hold it at arms length and limp to the hose to rinse off your foot while trying not to vomit.

MacGruber > Kick-Ass
I'm all about celery sticks.
I watched The Dark Knight like 74 times.
:roflI watched The Dark Knight like 74 times.
wow you are right about your life sucking.
Kick Ass was squarely aimed at serial GAF posters, so this thread makes sense.
Yea, probably 16-20. I was getting high and watching dvds more when I was 21-22.
Kick-Ass>TDK>Star Wars>Avatar> Stardust
Batman Begins is not good, it's decent. The lack of a worth while villain OR super hero ruins it. Whereas the Joker manages to carry most of TDK. Sure the ending is lol, and there is much cheese to be had, but it's a great action movie and the best superhero movie by far. Most haters are reacting more to the fanboys than the actual movie.
but who cares about TDK, Kick-Ass is the new hotness :bow

Begins has a better focus than TDK, and better villains. Ra's, Scarecrow, and Falcone are all villains from the comics and fit the first movie better than turning it into THE JOKER MOVIE like Burton did.
TDK's Joker is just wrong. Joker is kooky/funny-crazy, not creepy-serial killer crazy. Nicholson's Joker is a thousand times better than Ledgers and Ledger only got praise because he dropped dead. Actually read the Killing Joke. They gave that to Ledger to read, but he seems to have ignored it. The Joker in that and just about every other good Joker story is completely different from what Ledger did. Ledger's Joker sends a bomb to Gotham PD in a fat guy's chest. The Joker in the comic would send a bomb to Gotham PD filled with marzipan and kittens. Ledgers Joker would just shoot the Jason Todd Robin. The comic Joker would tie him up in a circus tent, beat him to a bloody pulp with a crowbar while laughing, and then blow him up with dynamite.
The only thing TDK did right was Two-Face (unlike Batman Forever), and then they went and got stupid by killing him.
good lord, if you think BB had better villains than TDK...then there's no point in talking to you. The villains in BB are boring, not interesting, and weren't particularly menacing. And none of this "bububu the comic book" bullshit. The films stand alone, and it was Nolan's vision of the Batman universe. The Joker in TDK is one of the best film villains in recent history. Was he exactly like the comic version? No. But to use that as a negative is just fanboy bitching, and an opinion held by a small minority of fanboys.Everything about the '"comic book" Joker was more interesting.
Nolan's vision? Oh come on. BB is basically Batman: Year One combined with The Man Who Falls and the tone of Long Halloween.

It's like manabyte said, he fucks with people just for fun. He doesn't kill people because he's depressed and angry, he does it because he thinks it's art.
I think Ledger just didn't get Nicholson's Joker. He wasn't just a nihilist with some bullshit anarchistic goal. The Joker is even less human than that. That's what makes him awesome.
shit>poo>crap>feces
:bow
The villains in BB were terrible. That dude with the dumb name and that other guy who was onscreen for like 2 minutes? Great. And the bad guy's plot was lolworthy. Really just a bad movie all around for internet nerds who care too much about comic book no one else does.

:piss Origin stories :piss2

You got Long Halloween from Begins? That shit is hardly present in the first movie, but is at the forefront for TDK.

Falcone is from Long Halloween.
