Title: You know you're getting old when...

- you think compulsory military service would be good for 'young' people
- you realise your (future) children will disappoint you
- yet you want to achieve your dreams through them since your time has passed
- you want to be left alone more and more

i went to a show once where the band was like "we have to cut our set short, because we have to go study for finals"

This is why I pretty much only go to 21+ shows. Stupid young kids.

1 and 5 have been true since i was a kid

And I think my future children will hate me, not disappoint me. I'll be the hippie parent that wants PBS to be the mainstay channel on the TV, IF the TV is even on, and they'll want MTV and bad reality TV and mad capitalism. I'll take the kid to the park instead of putting in another Disney movie. We won't have American cheese. The kid will hate me.
