Title: What's with the achievement pages on xbox.com?
Post by: AdmiralViscen on June 09, 2010, 09:48:00 AM
When you click individual games, some of the achievements will not appear for some reason. Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah I noticed this a few weeks ago. Really annoying. This only happens in Firefox for me though; when I tried Opera and Chrome it was fine.

Yep, noticed it with Doom II.

I never bother with Xbox.com since I started using Giantbomb.

What do you mean "use" Giantbomb?

How do you use it to view your cheevs?

You can link your GT to your giantbomb account, and from there you can view your achievements and sort them by completion %, grade, or whatever. Personally I use trueachievements.com, it's far and away the best achievement site imo. x360a has better guides though.

I thought x360a claimed that you had to manually check off your cheevs because of limitations of XBL? What a bunch of shit.

I dont, but I'd like to!

I know Ive got like 40 completed games in total but I dont know how many are Live Arcade/Retail.

x360a has a mainly distinguished mentally-challenged community if you read the comments and discussion (like all large websites) but for an achievement guide a day after a game has come out its the place to go! Theres some really dedicated people there writing the guides.

I like trueachievements because it's easy to see what achievements are rare. Those are usually the most fun to go after, unless it's some grinding achievement that takes no skill.
