not that i mind
nintendo is already rehashing everything
at least pikmin got spared

will probably end up being a 3DS game.

I have a feeling Nintendo is going to follow 3rd parties and totally abandon the Wii.

Well if next e3 is wii2 then ya they might abandon it in years time.  I think that is what they meant.  They certainty are not abandoning it right now and given the sales I bet the wii still has another 2 years left.

I thought it was understood that Reggie pulled Pikmin 3 out of his ass because he was pressured to give Nintendo fans a non-casual title they were working on.

agreed

Very small gap between the 3DS and Wii capabilities.  Other than what they already have in development, everything should just go to the 3DS.  Keep the party games and stuff that requires motion controls on the Wii.

3DS actually looks better than WII because its video output fits exactly the resolution of the screen.
