Ever since 2009, EA are not releasing NHL 20XX for the PC. What kind of bullshit is this? How hard can it be to port a damn console version to PC anyway. FU EA.
-
Because they want money.
-
Probably 'cause Hockey dude-bros are too dumb for PC gaming. Even with sports games, which is one of the least popular genres on PC, there's still enough money to be made. Just look at all the half-assed Fifas released every year.
-
I heard that the PC NHL games were bloody awful console ports anyway, I doubt anyone misses them.
-
Same reason they're not doing Madden/NBA. No one buys them and it's a waste of resources.
Doesn't explain NBA 2k10 on PC though.

I'm not sure what year it was, but if I remember correctly a while before they stopped making them outright, they started using the previous years console versions as the basis for the PC (so console owners would get, say, NHL 2002 while PC owners would just be getting 2001's engine with a roster update) so most PC guys just gave up and bought PS1/PS2's for their hockey fix.
