Then you need another code when you want to play games with them. Nintendo is still catching up with the Dreamcast with this whole internet thing.

It works if you get a lan adaptor or whatever.

The thing is, playing online still sucks because others will have shitty connections. The best way I found to play was to go onto XBLA and use that as a way to contact people/chat in-game while playing on the Wii.

I'd like to play the game more, but it's just so much easier to play on PS3/360.

I have one. I've yet to play a TvC match online that was even remotely acceptable in terms of lag.
