That's why they're called M$.
How much are you willing to pay for the cable?

No more than 20 bucks. But it seems that there's good values for used cables on Amazon. Thanks, MCD. I was looking at the official Xbox site originally.

I found a used 360 VGA cable at Gamestop for $2 once. YMMV

Does your monitor have DVI? If so, I can sent you a HDMI/DVI converter or you can find one pretty cheap.

If you haven't ordered the cable yet I actually have a spare one I'd be willing to let go for cheap. I spent the $40 for one a while back only to have my 360 RRoD on me within minutes of getting it all hooked up. Just message me if you're interested.

I bought a no name VGA cable from Play-Asia for $10, it was fine. I had a Joytech one too which was also fine. Sadly my TV now doesn't support VGA that well so it's component for me.
