Title: Epic Weekend approaches on the horizon, what will you do?

Friday: Kicking off Epic Weekend with a Man Night at my place. Lawn darts, a keg of beer and Rock Band.
Saturday: Good friend's 30th birthday party with a roasted pig, rum drinks and another keg of beer.
Sunday: Fourth of July on Lake Union in Seattle. Swimming in a pool all day and front row seats for the fireworks display.
Monday: Wrapping up the weekend with a house warming for our friends who just bought a house. Whatever hasn't been finished from the kegs will be consumed on this day.

I think so. Stupid Hawaiian shirts and all that jazz. Last year her bday party theme was white trash. I wore my best cut off acid wash jean shorts, a Rush shirt with the sleeves cut off and a denim Ozzy Ozborne hat I found at the Goodwill. I drank so many redneck mamosas (ie. Tang and Busch Ice) that my wife had to pull over in the Petco parking near the University of Washington so I could puke my guts out. :rock

My mom gets in on Saturday from Phoenix for a week. I haven't seen her in a year. :rock

However, my step dad got in a horrendous biking accident last year and is still in a wheelchair and walker.  :(
He was in the hospital for 4 months and had a stroke so he is not all there yet. It's going to be an interesting week.

Actually I'm supposed to go get drunk Saturday morning, and then go to a beerfest and drink expensive exotic beer for a while more.  Then go drink more beer while watch UFC somewhere.

Friday: Stagger into work around noon, move pieces of paper around for four or five hours, clock out and play cards.  Go to house party later, drank more alcohol.
Saturday: Probably nothing.
Sunday: Grill, drink beer, set shit on fire.

Yeah, fireworks are illegal here, so I just have to drink a lot of beer, sit around in the sun, go kayaking and swimming, and then a watch a professional 20-minute display right in front of me. Sucks, dude. :lol

No plans, depends on my wife's work schedule.  She's been off from work since Tuesday and won't go back in until Saturday, but we don't know the times yet.  I'm sure the family has something going on July 4th that we will go to.  Don't really care about doing anything though...apart from a job interview I had Monday, we've been going all over the place doing stuff and met up with people last weekend.

Figured out what I'm cooking:

Hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, pork steaks and tenderloin for meats (hopefully won't be the only meats :teehee)
Green bean casserole
Corn on the cob
Broccoli cheese casserole (possibly)
Cheeseburger dip

But more importantly, desserts:

Gooey butter cake :drool
Cupcakes
Dirt cake (with the oreos, whip cream, etc. etc.)
Strawberry pie (possibly)
Homemade vanilla ice cream

So good...  8)
