How does Disney plan to reinvigorate Split/Second: Velocity sales? By porting the game to PSP and PSPgo of course.
Due autumn, the conversions promise "unique" controls to fit "Sony's premier handheld game platform". Plus, there's to be one new track, some extra challenges and local multiplayer for up to four (humans).
The press release doesn't mention a developer.

Split Second is on the PC.
And it's trash, easily the worst port of the year.
-
Was the PC port really that bad? I thought its only flaw was having the same 30 fps cap as the consoles.
-
So they're porting it from the iPhone?
Have you looked at the PSP Mini's? It's like iPhones greatest hits - Field Runner, Let's Golf etc...

Only this release will likely be $30-$40, at least minis are like five bucks.
-
And the minis are still 200-500% higher than the iPhone ports too :lol
-
Time to crash and burn on another platform?
will be getting it though :teehee
-
Sumo Digital is behind this apparently...rumor of course
