Title: finally played a JRPG worse than WKC - Trinity Universe!

didn't take long for me to play a jrpg worse then white knight, did it?

You should have rented Cross Edge instead. It's also awful, but at least it's got Ar Tonelico and Mana Khemia 2 characters.

I've also heard really bad things about Last Rebellion.  It's a mystery why Nippon Ichi is going into the red!

mmm i tought this was just published by nisa but according to wikipedia it was co-developed between nippon ichi,gust and idea factory... i would be veeeeeeeeeeeeery curious about this game if i could play it

I'm wondering how their recent games have sold.  I honestly can't imagine Disgaea Infinite and What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord? 2 having old more than a couple of hundred copies each, seriously.

It's an idea factory game with some gust help in the graphic department and N1 was somehow involved in something.  But it's an idea factory game so course it's automatically shit.

Hitmaker game published my N1.  N1 has admitted the game was terrible and they didn't want to publish it but they were forced to.  But following it they've declined publish any future Hitmaker games.

Disgaea Infinite ain't bad, btw, it's just a visual novel type thing.  If you liked something like Time Hollow (which I did), you'll like DI.

Yeah, the 3 people who bought the US version of Disgaea Infinite are all on my AIM list and keep saying it's a good little adventure game.  Too bad I inherently dislike visual novels or I'd play it since I like Disgaea.

disgaea infinite is ultra-short like a 2 hour affair,i was quite disappointed

they all take less than 10 minute to reach and they are all dumb variation of the same ending :-\
for example

in one of the ending raspberryl convince laharl and flonne to attach posters around laharl castle,if you see this scene from flonne POW you get ending 1,if you view it from raspberryl POW you get ending 2 and if you view it from laharl POW you get ending 3!

The videos don't make the game look horrible, just uninspired...
