I like this idea better, the film has a good look.

Eeeehhhh don't know about that.

I agree on the second point though. Although the original was pretty much just the Old West with demons and stuff.

Priest is mainly set in the Old West, and the main character is actually himself an undead creature of some kind.

Its almost like Doom the movie and being about zombies and shit, makes no sense.
