Electronic Arts has filed for three separate trademarks bearing the Syndicate name (as reported by Destructoid) and they cover a wide range of products. Everything from video game software and online computer games to board games to collectible toy figures. While nothing has officially been announced, this could mark the beginning of a franchise reboot from EA, which owns the rights to the series.

Tbh first thing I thought of, and I don't doubt it. But you never know! I loved Syndicate and Syndicate Wars sooo much, actually forgot about them for the top western games thread. I could imagine this as an RTT with the ability to pan in and out of playing as squad leader or other members of your cyborg team, they'll have to keep the Real Time Tactics style there to some extent surely.

Nah, it'll be a TPS with janky cover mechanics and emo cyborg bromance

Sounds like you've been playing too much RDR.
Co-op bromance? Could be good 8)
