Giantbomb said 10+ feet and the guy in this video was at least four dwarfs lying down away from the TV. Nice that it works sitting down. I guess it can work as an addition to games instead of just flailing around.

The only way they can put Kinect into existing hardcore games is to make it totally optional,something that would "enhance" experience,not replace...fine by me

I haven't followed the Kinect or the Move since they were announced. Neither are relevant to me. Much like the Wii.
