I already got a Wiz so no point in getting this one. They took out OLED, which was one of the best features of the Wiz. Nothing better than playing in the middle of the day on the JR, not having to worry about the glare! Sucks that they took it out of the Caanoo...

i have no idea what you guys are talking about ???

Does this play original GP32 games? Curiosity always got me about stuff like "Tomak: Save The Earth Again", "Her Knights" and "DyHard With Infinite Stairs". Was obsessed with getting a GP32 for a short period back in 2004 (when I read that Insert Credit writeup about its games) but that faded upon DS/PSP's release.

I have been reading up on it. I'll hold off until there are more emulators and such that take advantage of the extra power over the Wiz before I get one.
And the funny thing about gamepark hardware is what they're always almost awesome. The Wiz has a proper d-pad! but the face buttons are like a second d-pad. The Caannoo has regular buttons! but there is an analog stick and no d-pad :-\ The analog stick does look like the one on the Tapwave Zodiac and that wasn't too bad after you set a really tiny dead zone.

I already have more handheld games than I can finish in the next several years. Or am I missing the point?

I have the Wiz and like it a lot, it's a great knock around system for retro stuff. I read that this Caanoo thing is pretty much the same thing but with an LCD instead of an LED screen

The face buttons on the WIZ work a lot better then you might think by looking at it.

Yeah, FunGP not working is pretty annoying, although they're supposed to fix it soon. I can't even get the software to recognize my WIZ at the moment!
