Check your Gmail and make sure you have chat enabled.  Feel the awesome as you can now make free calls anywhere in the US or Canada from your Gmail account.

You click that, and it pops up a number pad and you just dial in there.  Andrwfields called me on my desk phone at work.  The number shows up from California.

Nope, I called a bunch of people in New Zealand and other places  :smug I just cancelled my homeline, cancelled my shitty adsl and got a new 10mbit cable connection because this + skype is so cheap. Costs me like 2cents per minute to call any landline in NZ with :bow google :bow2 and it's free to call anywhere in the US or Canada + super cheap everywhere else.

I remember when all the other 5th graders were using Yahooligans to research their reports and I was using Google. I was so ahead of the curve on this one
