Title: So what did you think of Yoshi's Island DS?
Post by: SantaC on September 15, 2010, 02:48:13 AM: I remember this being unveiled at gaf and everyone was hyped. Then it turned out that artoon did some of the work and suddenly gaf didn't care anymore. I, however still loved this game. It has one of the better looking 2D graphics on the DS and a pleasure to watch at (compare that to Zelda DS)

It is imo a better game than NSMB and also the later stages provides a nice challenge. A top5 game for the DS.

Post by: tiesto on September 15, 2010, 02:25:02 PM: I thought the level design was pretty messy and full of a ton of cheap deaths (luckily, they mitigated this somewhat by making it so easy to get extra lives). Didn't bring very much new to the table aside from parts where you got to play as the different babies. And music was horrible. Very disappointing game and not a patch on the original.
