in case nobody knows the story,game informer gave 6 to the original etrian odyssey saying that the game had no plot whatsoever and that the reviewer had to name his character stuff like "fight" and "heal" just to remember who did what

while that's a really stupid comment,the fact that to this day i have to see a "FIGHT & HEAL SAIL THE SEA!" thread on gaf is waaaaaaaaaay more stupid,i swear they are worse than jilted girlfriends

great much better than EO2

- subclasses
- sailing/sea quests
- weapons have slots for enhancements
etc

I've got a Buccaneer in my front line, he's friggn useless. May have to swap him for a tank who can take a bit more damage.

Also I want to swap my farmer for a caster, but the only way I'm making any money is from harvesting items. I may have to make a secondary party for money making runs.
