They don't include the 25th Anniversary SMB All Stars disc. Just NSMB on Wii and Mario Kart on the DS. Dumbasses.
REDMOND, Wash.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Nintendo has everyone’s holiday shopping list covered with an array of great new products. These include Mario™-red, limited-edition Wii™ and Nintendo DSi XL™ system bundles that celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros.™ game on the NES™ and a new Wii Remote™ Plus controller that has Wii MotionPlus™ motion technology built right in. Nintendo already offers tremendous video game value, and these products will make it even easier for shoppers to find fun at a great price. All new products go on sale in North America on Nov. 7, and the limited-edition products will be available while supplies last.
“Whether shoppers want to add a cool new look to their gaming setup or expand their supply of controllers with an exciting game, Nintendo offers a great value for the holidays,” said Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of Public Relations. “For anyone who is still on the fence about whether to join the world of video games, we’re offering many fun, easy, economical ways to get involved.”
The lineup of products launching Nov. 7 includes:
Red Wii Bundle: This limited-edition Wii hardware comes in beautiful red to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game. The bundle includes New Super Mario Bros.™ Wii and a new red Wii Remote Plus controller, in addition to all the other included items, like Wii Sports™ and a red Nunchuk™ controller. It will be available while supplies last at a suggested retail price of just $199.99.
Red Nintendo DSi XL Bundle: This special-edition Nintendo DSi XL bundle is also red in honor of the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. and features three iconic Super Mario Bros.-themed graphics. The bundle comes with Mario Kart™ DS, which looks gorgeous on the extra-large screen. That’s in addition to the pre-loaded software of Brain Age™ Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock. It will be available while supplies last at a suggested retail price of just $179.99.
Wii Remote Plus: This new controller combines the original, iconic Wii Remote™ controller with built-in Wii MotionPlus functionality. The compact Wii Remote Plus controller offers players precision motion controls all in one unit. It becomes the new standard Wii controller, and will be available from now on in all Wii hardware packages and bundles, as well as sold separately at a suggested retail price of $39.99.
FlingSmash™ Bundle: The new Wii game combines the hands-on fun of tennis with the nonstop action and instant gratification of pinball. It requires use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory, so it seemed natural to bundle it with the new Wii Remote Plus controller. For a suggested retail price of $49.99, shoppers get to enjoy both the game and the controller in one package.

Super Mario All Stars rom in a disc for 25$
i'm not sure why anybody would be sad about the lack of that ???
-
Who the fuck plays Nintendo systems???
poor people :'(
-
would've been nice, guess they wanted to save the extra dollar or so it would've cost to include it
-
Who the fuck plays Nintendo systems???
.
-
I already have that on my pc why would I want to pay for it ???
-
FUCK, and I was just about to double dip on Nintendo hardware in a new color. Now I will have to import the JDM version.
-

You shut your filthy WHORE mouth, we're Nintendo fans and we're always unhappy!
-
The super mario collection disc is mega dumb anyway. I'm more excited about the new wiimotes. Then again I think the only motionplus game coming out next year is top spin 4 :fbm
Not sure if I care about zelda.
-
I wanted that collection :( My cousin has my copy of allstars.
-
lol, the Mario Allstars disc doesn't include Super Mario World. :lol
Burn a downgraded rom on a disc and sell it for $25. Jewtendo. ::)
-
who gives a fuck. All Stars disc is for dumbasses. Who the fuck would buy it? It should include Mario 1-3, Super, Yoshi's Island, 64, and Sunshine, maybe even the Mario Land's and Wario's Lands. Instead, it's just a disc with Super Mario All Stars a game that out 20 fucking years ago for the snes. Horrible way to celebrate's Mario, and my, 25th birthday.

You can't play the 3d marios on a Wii Remote or Mario World and the Yoshis for that matter.

You could play Mario World if they retooled it. NSMBwii tied mario's spin jump to shaking.
edit: I still think the Mario collection would be a shameless cash grab.

All Stars didn't start including SMW until later in SNES' life. My copy doesn't have SMW on it.
It's an older ROM, not a downgraded one... lol

you know i would have tought that they would at least do a menu, put up a special video with miyamoto talking,an artwork section,a demo of galaxy, but nothing! it boots straight to the rom,it doesn't even have a warning screen
next year,it should be 25 years of zelda, who wants to bet they will just re-release the collector edition disc?
-
they didn't even change the instructional button guide. Its a freaking snes diamond.
-
whoever buys this is a fucking dumbass

That has to be the ugliest cover ever. It's as if Nintendo doesn't even like Mario.
They should've celebrated in style, not with this trash.

Like it even matters. They are charging $25 for an inferior version of All-Stars, on a disc.
You know what would have been cool? If the disc had the NES SMB games, plus the All-Stars remakes, plus Mario World, plus the enhanced GBA versions of them, including SMB3 with all the e-card shit intact. I'd buy that.
-
You kno what would be cooler. If we all stopped buying Nintendo products
-

But but the 3DS. :'(
-
Given that there is no Zelda collection with Zelda 1, 2, 3, and more all on the same disc I'd buy that.
It definitely WOULDN'T just be this crappy Mario shit. It can't. Zelda's not Mario and there is no Zelda where only one button is required for play.
Dream scenario: Zelda Collection with Zelda 1, 2, 3, LA, OoT, MM, Oracles, and Minish Cap, maybe Wind Waker if they can fit it.

I could kiss you.

But they're making a rhythm tengoku for Wii!

My name is Mr. Gundam, and I support this message.

I've never seen a company who openly hates and despises their fans so much as Nintendo.
Then again, if I pump out low end shitware and have millions of autistics, soccer moms, and grandmas buy it up and clamor for more, I'd probably hate them too.

$29.99
yay?
-
$30 for a Super Mario All-Stars rom on a disc. :lol
-
I think one two and three and the "lost levels" are all available on the Virtual Console for 5 bucks each. So its 10 bucks cheaper that way. You could GIS all the mario clip art you need.
-
lol. $30 ROM
-
The fact that all you guys are saying you going to pirate this game is probably why we dont have xenoblade... nah, who the fuck am i kidding.

actualy lost level is 8 bucks because it's a japan only release so it would be 7 buck cheaper
nintendo is classy like that :smug
-
Pre-ordered.

People pirated Super Mario All Stars 15 years ago. Xenoblade ain't coming because no one would buy it.
-
Isn't one of the main selling points of this collection the minibook and cd? The games included are pretty much unofficial freeware at this point.

Shit, I 'pirated' Super Mario All Stars when it launched. I remember Nintendo had a giveaway for the cart if you bought a SNES when All Stars came out.
I said fuck that, I bought a SNES when it launched AND I had all three Super Mario games on NES. If anyone deserved a free game it was me.
So I got my dad's typewriter and typed up a bullshit receipt. I took some scissors and made the bottom of it frayed and sent it in with my proof of purchase :smug
Got my free game in 6-8 weeks.
Sense of entitlement :smug
I'm paying $30 for a rom 20 years later so :piss on me though

I know, it was a joke.

A non-issue for true Nintendo fans.
