Title: Do Xbox Live subscription cards stack?

Ffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuu! I bought an extra year at the MS Store, and my Xbox automatically renewed my sub before I could enter the code. If I enter it now, will it extend my subscription to +2 years?

(I ask because I remember this specifically NOT WORKING on the Xbox 1)

Are those one-month Live codes still available or is that deal dead and gone now?
