Title: Is my ipod fucked?

I had to take a walk in the rain today, my ipod was in a covered pocket, was in no way exposed to elements. However, when I took it out I noticed it had some condensation moisture. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now my screen has a huge dead spot at the bottom. Is this something that may fix itself if I leave it alone for a few days?

it might, just leave it off for a day or so in a warm dry place to let it dry out completely

i threw mine against a wall and now when i turn it on i just see a picture of an ipod with a frowny face :(
