Of course they want them. There are commercials every five seconds. If I was a kid, I'd want one too.
-
I messed up my ipod (wifi isn't working, condensation related) without even trying. It would be ill advised to buy an idevice for a kid.
-
ipads are toys, news at 11
-
I don't see "game console" as a possible choice on that list, Manabyte.
-
:bow PC gaming, wave of the future :bow2
-
more kids want a PS3 more than a 360, Wii, 3DS, and PSP, etc?
more kids want a PlayStation Move controller more than a 360, Kinect, or PSP?

Except they all probably already have a Xbox.
-
The xboxs are probably dead which is why they want a ps3.

Kids want a PS3 because their dads are hogging the 360. Dads don't want to pony up for live for the kid so they want a PS3 for the free online.
Dads don't want the kid messing with his COD ratios.

For a minute, I thought by "E-Reader" it meant that stupid gameboy device that let you play Donkey Kong and Excitebike by swiping trading cards through it.
-
E-readers would be higher if kids could read spiderman on a kindle.
-
Hopefully, they all buy Chu Chu Rocket. :-*
-
Is that on iPad? fuck.

So what you're saying is Apple's marketing is most effective among the puerile? Interesting
-
Handheld gaming future.

I'm already almost resigned to that myself
-
Yeah Chu Chu Rocket is great, even on the iPhone it's fantastico
-
Handheld gaming future.
Slap a d-pad and some buttons on one of these devices and I'll be cool with that. Otherwise, yuck...too many games just don't work with the touch interface.
-

I see all the current game consoles on the chart; what am I missing?

Whether gamers like it or not, portable gaming is the future of gaming.
