Is this tonight?
Can we just update the OP with news though.

Mortal Kombat Character Reveal (Kratos?)
Jaffe did like a 15 min playthrough. Should be online somewhere.oh shit. i just saw random clips from the debut trailer on gametrailers.com. i'll have to look for that later or if someone would be so kind, link me to it. :)
Joystiq has learned from a trusted source that BioWare's enigmatic teaser from last month represents the first glimpse of Mass Effect 3. As many have guessed, the third installment looks to feature something brand new to the series: multiplayer. We're currently unable to confirm that the multiplayer component will be part of the game's unveiling at the upcoming Spike Video Game Awards.
The Spike VGAs will air this Saturday night, preceded by a good deal of internet speculation brought on by the above teaser image. As spotted by one of our commenters, Arth Vader, the gun above looks exactly like the M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle from Mass Effect 2. BioWare has also blasted out curious QR codes via its Twitter feed, all of which indirectly reference things from the Mass Effect universe, including the Vostok system and the surface temperature of the planet Aequitas.
So, who's ready for more Mass Effect? Do we even need to ask?

You do realize that the SP and MP are done by different teams...right? So the MP takes nothing away from SP.
again is this tomorrow? Cause I vaguely remember last year that everything was revealed a day before.
Is that Christopher Lee as Hugo Strange?
The only one that really got me hot and bothered with excitement was the Mass Effect 3 Trailer. Although I'm sure obviously most of them will be good games.
I'm all over Elder Scrolls V if it's running on a new engine

I still don't get how a bunch of amateurs were able to get so much better results than a team of pros getting paid millions.
i dunno, man, liberty prime fuckstomping all those enclave soldiers on his way to the jefferson memorial was a pretty cinematic gaming moment for me
Woah, I had no idea Bethesda was still using the Morrowind engine. Suddenly, it all makes sense.
It would be nice to play something by them that actually felt somewhat polished and a little cinematic.

I think if you're expecting this from a Bethesda game, then you're only ever going to be disappointed. They make games with big worlds that are perfect for exploring, for fighting monster out in the hills and the forests, finding out of the way places and seeing what's going on in the next town. Not about having awesome cinematic moments and polished presentation.
I'm not saying that I wouldn't like some of that in my Bethesda games, I'm just saying I don't think it'll happen.
I must've missed the mandate that game trailers should be devoid of in game footage.
they don't do black people very well, they always look like their bodies are covered in soot or something
The best thing about Bethesda games is that they are so easily moddable. And it's really interesting to see what the community can do with the games.
By the way, Nehrim: At Fate's Edge is a pretty cool total-conversion mod for Oblivion.

To be fair almost no game devs do black people well outside of basketball games. It's a damm shame.
:'(

Funny you mention that. My friends, both hardcore Lakers fans, were complaining during NBA2k11 that Kobe looked a freak compared to Gasol.
how is it on the autism minutiae scale
i mean, do you have to worry about bleeding to death or going to the bathroom and shit like that
Yeah, it's a damn shame that Mass Effect 2 isn't moddable. Mods that make the Citadel feel more populated and lively would be so awesome.

I gotta disagree. Especially with the NBA 2k series. They generally do black people very well. The resemblance may not be there in some cases but it still tends to look like a good face. The white guys are the ones that tend to suffer in the 2k series for some reason. They've never gotten Dirk right once ever for instance. He always looks like a freak.
Wait a second...
I will do that, it's looking like I might have the entire week of Christmas off to dick around and play games!
Are there any issues using it with the Steam version?
Installation (if you have Oblivion by Steam)
• Steam is a little rigid concerning its copy protection. Unfortunately, due to that feature you
can't have Nehrim and Oblivion installed separately, so you will have to overwrite Oblivion
with your Nehrim installation.
• First create a copy of your Oblivion folder as a backup. You can find this in the folder
Steam/SteamApps/common.
• Now you can execute the Nehrim installer, choosing any place on your harddrive for
installation.
WARNING: If you are using Windows Vista or 7, then please do not install Nehrim into one of
the Program Folders (Program, Program Files, Program(x86), Program Files (x86)). Because
of the Windows security checks this can cause problems.
• When the installation is complete, go to the folder where you have installed Nehrim. Copy
and paste ALL of it into your Oblivion folder (Steam/SteamApps\common).
Starting Nehrim (if you have Oblivion by Steam)
• Unfortunately, you cannot use the Launcher provided by SureAI with Steam to start Nehrim
Therefore, click as usual on the Oblivion start icon. Nevertheless, DO NOT click “Play”
yet! Just as you do with other mods you must first activate the Nehrim files.
• Therefore click on “Data Files” and uncheck ALL game files that you have activated. To
play Nehrim now enable “Nehrim.esm” and “NehrimData.esp”. NOTHING ELSE! All
files that have anything to do with Oblivion must be disabled or the game will crash. (ED: Therre is also a NehrimEnglish or something similar file that you want to have checked too, otherwise the game will be entirely in German)
• Now you can click the “Play” button. You can check to see if there is an update for Nehrim
by using the Nehrim Launcher (you need only to communicate with the update server by
clicking on the arrow next to the “Update” button and then activate the check box). Then
using the link provided, you can download the update or let the launcher download it
automatically.
is it fully translated yet
