Who is this villain guy? Never heard of him.
haha did MCR really do the GT5 song?
lol, how the hell does Prototype 2 even work.
Guillermo del Toro :bow2
Volition :bow2

2013 :piss2
4za should be sick as hell.
uh, Forza 4
fall 2011. nothing really shown. something about top gear (usa?) about it(?)
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/vga-10-forza-motorsport/708346
Forza 4 - 1000 cars ALL with in car views. That would destroy GT5.
Turn 10 already has 500 cars with cockpit views. 500 more with Forza 4 is possible.
GT5's 200 cars with cockpits couldn't compete.
I thought Gears was at the VGAs?
8)4za should be sick as hell.
Yeah, THIS one won't be some drab shitsim racer. THIS one will be what does it. And if not, well then there is always 5. Or 6. In 2013.
Gamebryo :fbm

Confirmed?
Backcountry snowboarding is dudebro, frilly freestyle is all about brands and goofy clothes. SSX backcountry :rock
Redefining the SSX franchise, SSX: Deadly Descents will pit riders versus both mountain and man. Players will explore the story of a team who seek to be the first to descend the faces of the most treacherous mountain ranges on the planet. The team will travel the world to face the worst that Mother Nature can throw at them. From the peaks of the Himalayas, where the air is so thin that riders have to descend through the death zone at breakneck speeds to keep from blacking out, to the solid ice ranges of Antarctica, where a sunlit line is the only survival option when temperatures drop 50 degrees centigrade in the shade. And the mountain isn’t the only danger players will face. In SSX: Deadly Descents the first goal is to survive. The second, in true SSX fashion, is to look good doing it.
Yes, I need a confirmation because Gamebryo is old as shit and at some point they need to get a new engine. Everyone figured with Zenimax buying ID a while back that meant ES5 would be Rage. Maybe it still is. Need confirmation.
Not that I care either way, I just want confirmation so I can laugh at all the ES fans who will be stuck playing another ugly as shit buggy game until modders fix it up a year or two later.

What's the difference? I've never tried any board sport ever since I failed miserably at skateboarding when I was a kid.

Backcountry is about shredding down untracked or wild terrain, as in not parks and resort slopes.
And who can blame EA for taking the SSX series somewhere radically different from where it's been. They have to make money and I guarantee Snowboarding down Avalanches and in Tornadeos is more appealing than wacky snowboarders with Afros and shit.
Kinda looks like a sequel to Lost Planet 1. I'll give them a chance though.
Change is good, Himu. Aren't you one of those people who are always complaining about the lack of creativity this gen?

they should add terrorists that chase you and spam grenades so you have to outrun them and jump over the grenades.

Oh please. How is mimicing other recent popular titles creative at all?
In all honesty, you're all going to love it. It'll probably play as well as Skate since it's the same devs and you all loved Skate and it did that did the exact same wacky -> realism thing to the Tony Hawk franchise.spoiler (click to show/hide)I don't like Skate :([close]
If it plays anything like Skate I'll pass completely. I don't like that game and I don't like fiddling with the right stick to pull off special moves.
As far as the look and some of the themes and such its not a surprise they would change it quite a bit to attract a wider audience. The reason the game has been MIA was because it wasn't selling.
Hopefully it still captures that spark about what made SSX great.
Yeah, right stick controls with sports games have always felt weird to me. I couldn't do it in Fight Night or NBA2K.
i think i am the only person on this board who enjoyed resistance 2
god bless you, developers whose name i can't remember and am too lazy to look up, i stand alone in looking forward to your sequel

TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT THE NEW SSX I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS.
GIVE ME THE RUN DOWN, I'M ABOUT TO GET LAID AND I EXPECT DETAILS WHEN I RETURN

Never played Resistance 2. I played Resistance 1 and I never really got what other people saw but whatever.
Apparently most people didn't like 2 according to what I've read because they changed a lot of things from one. So it sounds like they are reverting everything back to how it was in the first one ala the weapon wheel.
It had some nice visuals (snow),

R2 visuals actually look better in this comparison. Kinda surprising since so many people said that the sequel looked significantly worse.

The winners on that last aren't too bad, as far as mainstream awards go. It'd be nice if Spike stopped aiming this show at 14 year olds and attempted a respectable award show, but that's never gonna happen.
