I bought the last one because it has some appealing games like that furry kung fu one.  This one has games I own and don't like that much (Braid, Machinarium) and the others are games that don't interest me (one looked like a tower defense game  :-X ) But I guess Braid, Osmos and Machinarium are fairly popular for indie games and that's what they were going for.

ok, Machinarium is pretty alright.  It's just too slow paced to play twice and my save data for it got erased and I'm bitter about it because I wanted to finish it but not replay half the game again.

on an unrelated note,a while ago i got braid trough secondary ways... and the weird thing is that the game wouldn't run on full screen but if i did try to run it windowed,it would run but part of the screens would be cut off and the game would run like crap! apparently it was a bug,did they ever fix it?

Osmos I already own, and the other games just do not tickle my fancy. Oh well.

Gonna splurge and waste a buck or five. Can't hurt to get Linux/Mac versions of the games.

I liked Braid just fine. I don't really care about Blow one way or the other; if anything, I might be slightly negatively biased because he pulled a Really Bad Game Designer Stunt in offering the Official Braid Walkthrough (http://braid-game.com/walkthrough/walkthrough.html), which makes the assumption that how his brain works, how he creates/solves problems, will eventually be clearly visible to every player who attempts to solve the game. That's remarkably condescending and unrealistic.

I bought this and gave most of the money to charity.  I just ordered it hoping they'd do similar things in the future, only with games I like and didn't own.  And I wish I could adjust the developer slider per game so I didn't have to give blow more than the 1200 xbox points I lost.

So?  Romanski rapes little girls but he still makes great films and I like him as a film maker.

yeah, but blow isn't Polanski, and Braid sure as hell isn't Chinatown.  I don't think Braid is even a very good game.  He's more like the woman that wrote juno.

Braid is a great game.  I'm not really sure why others don't agree.

Is it pretentious as hell?  Yes, totally.  But despite that is it a good puzzle game with a creative mechanic, well designed levels, good art, great music, and a story?  Yes it is.
