Was cold.as.shit. but awesome. I've never really seen pictures of this thing in Winter and it being my first time, I was awestruck. Definitely want to visit again during Spring or Fall but a 7 hour drive is a bit much for two or so hours of taking photos. Maybe I'll see if I can head into Canada or something next time and shoot from the opposite side.

Oh and the Food Court here was like something out of Dead Rising. Most of the "International" food businesses were closed and the ones that were open were operated by what looked like an angry skeleton crew. All the tables were empty and it was just absolutely depressing. No surprise though, who goes to Niagara Falls in the Winter? :teehee But $10 for chicken fingers and fries? FUCK THAT SHIT.

Next time I go up, definitely going into Ontario. Its funny how the Buffalo/Niagara side is a piece a crap, aside from the beautiful natural feature one visits it for. Besides the sort of garish casino, there's nothing on the American side.

1 block from the bridge is a ghetto.

NFNY is disgusting.

I'll have to upload some new photos as these are years old:

Yeah, WNY is a pretty horrible area. Really depressed economically, and you have all these nice art deco buildings that are totally gutted and vandalized. There's no tax base, no money to do anything to fix up the cities, no jobs. And the weather is awful. Was fun to live in for 4 years for college, but by the middle of the 3rd year I just wanted to GTFO. And that's saying something, for the area has a large Polish population.
