Title: Halo 1 on X360 - Freezing problems?

My aunt just got her kid a X360 for Christmas, along with Halo 1 and 2.

He's been experiencing some freezing issues with Halo 1, and I'm trying to figure out if it's the emulation or whatever. As far as I know the emulation for the Halo games was supposed to good, and I know he's had 2 or 3 complete system lockups so far.

Anyone have any experience with this?

(on a side note, I've got another friend who got a 360 for Christmas. He keeps getting disc read errors :( )

I played through the whole thing on co op on my 360 without a single freeze.

Probably duds.  Tell them to get the warranty or return these.  I've had some lag when playing xbox 1 games but not freezes.  Clearing the cache might help.

I doubt clearing the cache would do anything since this is a brand new system, and the only games he has are Halo 1 & 2.
