This was just released at Comiket 79. I've just played it for an hour or so and this game is GREAT. This is easily the best doujin shooter I've ever played. Good bullet patterns, great graphics, good gameplay systems. It's clearly VERY inspired by Cave. It's got three different difficulty modes as well, so it's very beginner friendly.
Anyway, game's awesome. I highly recommend downloading (or buying) it (google "crimzonclover hongfire"... first link).

Yeah, I would buy this in a second if it were on a DDL service.
Still playing this. The scoring system is really really fun in this game. It's kinda like Ketsui. Use the homing laser to destroy as many targets as possible, which will give you a high multiplier, then you use the shot to take out as many popcorn enemies as possible before your multiplier ticks down. Then there is Break Mode and Double Break mode, which are kinda like hypers in Dodonpachi. Using that gets even more points. The bosses are pretty tough in this game, but it looks like you can get a 1up after every boss you kill, so it's not so bad.

Perfect Cherry Blossom is the only Touhou that I've actually liked. Meh series. The thing that irritates me about Touhou is that a large portion of its fans care more about the lolis than the actual games.
It does have some pretty awesome music though.
