Title: The Void thread of resource management and nekid ladies
Post by: Great Rumbler on January 05, 2011, 01:34:26 AM
The Void has nudity. A LOT of nudity. I don't have a problem with that. It's also a pretty fun game, fulfilling both the OCD tendencies of gathering great gobs of useable gizmos and also looking at nekid 3D ladies. So, hats off to those wacky Russians, I guess.

The game starts pretty slow, but I've unlocked two more areas and that's made the game a lot more interesting. Will play more to see how things go.

I try to play this every now and then, and almost always run out of paint. Dunno why, dunno how.

But hell if this isn't an atmospheric game. Keeps me coming back. And I'm not talking about nekkid ladies when I say that. They are certainly appreciated though.

Remember that the different colors have properties. Like Azure is the color of speed, so when you have azure in a heart you move quicker, both in-game and on the world map. green is defense and red is attack, etc. They are all listed in the journal [J]. The one most worthy of note is gold, which is the color of trust. i.e. if you have gold in a heart you don't have to spend so much color getting the girls to open up to you. This is a huge relief so you should always keep an eye on your gold reserves.

@Corporal; If you can manage to the point where you have more than four gardens at your disposal, the game becomes much easier. At the start it's very easy to fuck around and be too wasteful, which makes progressing incredibly difficult. If you try to minimize your spending; not tagging all the trees for instance and focusing mostly on gold and emerald and letting azure wait a bit.
