Title: Anyone have pretzels that aren't dog shit?

Pretzels, at least the mass produced kind, suck shit and taste like shit. I've never understood their popularity and any time I see a pretzel in trail mix I just roll my eyes.

Where can someone find a pretzel that doesn't suck?

I remember there was a place here that made some really big a delicious pretzels with an awesome cheese sauce :drool sadly they didn't even last a year, I haven't had a good pretzel since then.

Maybe it's 'cause Himu is in the dirty South?  East Coast pretzels are the shit.  Too bad, I'm usually on the West Coast where Mexicans people don't care for them.

In the south it's just a dry thing with a bunch of salt on it. Think the type of pretzels you'd find in a Chex Trail Mix. That's the only type of pretzel I've had in the south.

The South and the West Coast are generally horrible for traditional American foods.  There's like one decent hot dog stand in all of LA.

Also try the thicker pretzel sticks and spread cream cheese on them Himu.


I use to not be a big pretzel guy myself but those two things changed my opinion.
