This NYT USA census map owns.

Here's my hometown. My area of Houston was always a melting pot until you got to the upper middle class, but even there's some minorities in that area. Humble is where I'm from. Atscocita, the neighboring suburb town, has lots of whites but also a fair amount of blacks, hispanics and asians.

Compared to the town of my first college: Wilson, North Carolina.

Pretty good! It's no wonder I'm used to melting pots.

Where I currently am however is far more segregated than what I'm used to:

They did a census here like a month ago and we still don't have the results, this government is a joke smh.

Wow, I had no idea that the South Bronx was mostly hispanic. Uptown Bx where I live is mostly black.
