Does anyone remember this show, when it originally came out?
I don't remember this, but I saw it on netflix and thought it looked interesting and realized this is some awesomely weird shit. I love it. :lol
Labyrinth meets random weird stories.

I remember watching it on HBO, but it got canceled during the second season.

It came out in the mid 80's but I remember renting it on VHS's when I was a child (early-mid 90's).
"Hans My Hedgehog" was totally fucking sweet.

I used to watch it as a kid, a friend of mine made me watch a bunch of episodes on youtube a couple of years ago, it still holds up pretty well imo.

Both the original series and the Greek Myths series are on Netflix streaming. Get on it.
I wish they'd release DVDs of the entire Jim Henson Hour series, which is what Storyteller was from.

This is one of my favorite TV series ever. There are some great fables of which most people have never heard.
For a long while, prior to DVD availability, one of my prized possessions was a set of the series on Japanese VHS.
