So Cave just announced this. There aren't many details yet, but it looks like a platformer.

Lots more screens here: http://www.andriasang.com/e/galleries/2011/02/19/ninninjump_screens/
Looks pretty interesting. I hope it's something in the vein of N+ or Super Meat Boy, with a Cave twist. Could be awesome.

And here's a trailer:

360 producer Makoto Asada has posted an important announcement regarding NIN2-JUMP here: http://www.cave.co.jp/gameonline/Xbox360/nin2-jump/asd_20110407.pdf
・All proceeds from sale of the game from release until the end of June will be donated to relief efforts.
・NIN2-JUMP will be released in April for 400 MSP on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
...Help Japan out and play a fun game at the same time!

Sooner than I expected! $5 = instabuy (would be an instabuy for me at any price actually)
-
Nice only 400pts, I'd get it out of impulse.
-
GODDAMN will be all over it. The low price tag + proceeds going to relief will garner the title a lot of attention for sure. Lets hope it sells as well as Case 0!
edit: I just tipped off x360a to run a story. Cheevo whores love their 400 point games
-
That Golden Harvest style opening logo is really sweet.

Easiest Cave completion yet? Looks like it. (aside from DOJ BLEX)
-
so is this coming out this week?
-
Releasing April 27th.

It has 50 stages spread over 5 worlds, so it seems fairly meaty.
-
$5? I'll get this with Sega Rally Online Arcade, then.

Deep regret.

The "bloopers over the credits" is a nice tip of the hat to Jackie Chan.

I've been playing this for the last few hours and I'm really enjoying it. Adventure mode is okay - it's pretty easy and doesn't take much time to finish (getting all S-ranks and collecting the Cave logos). I'm already done with it and don't have much desire to go back since I already got the 200/200 (which is really easy).
Score Attack, on the other hand, is the real meat of the game and it is absolutely excellent. You go around the stage, building up your hit counter (maxes out at 100) and building your mutliplier until it hits 1000, and then, just like Death Smiles, you power up and suck up tons and tons of points. It's fucking great and it becomes quite challenging after you've done a few rounds of it.
So this is basically the best score attack game on XBLA. I guess Cave's genius can translate to other genres after all. :D
PS. And I'm ranked #1 on the Spring stage in score attack. Come at me bros.
-
At least it's an easy 200. Cave knows how to get some sales... score attack will be hacked and cheated so not worth bothering with
-
easy 200, sweet!
I spent my remaining MS points on Case West but I'll grab this next week.
