Molyneux added wistfully that of all the Bullfrog franchises, he would have most liked to be in on Syndicate, going so far as to offer his phone number if EA want to take him up on it.

But the designer isn’t actually considering a revisit to the past with his own team.

“I’m actually not a huge fan of remakes,” he said, “Only because I think there’s too many other ideas to work on.”

He's so full of shit.

Can't wait to see what awesome new innovation he's got cooking for Fable 4!

The funny bit about Molyneux to me is that most people associate his bullshit with either Black and White or Fable.

For me it was Powermonger back in the day. I remember eagerly anticipating it after reading all his promises. And getting it and realizing it was all nearly lies and the game was a worse version of populous. The fact that he is still suckering people 20 years later is just hilarious. He is modern version of Barnum.

What has Miyamoto done in the last 5 years?

What has Miyamoto done in the last 5 years?

He has almost a completely different role at Nintendo than in the days of him personally designing individual games.

I just find it funny considering all the talk of the Revolution/Wii making him want to develop games again, yet here we are years later with nothing but tech demos.

I was being facetious, of course. I mean, Peter Molyneaux made The Movies this decade, so that counts for something.

It's a pretty decent "tycoon" game, although it gets a bit too steeped in minutiae after a while [having to constantly pamper your stars [just like real life!!] whose mood often veered wildly [just like real life!!]. Probably the best thing he's done since Bullfrog folded.

Miyamoto is more or less the guy who goes around looking at all the games in production and gives not so subtle hints at what features he wants included, revamped, or cut.  This leads to Retro making Donkey Kong blow air as a mechanic, the motionplus emphasis in Skyward Sword, the three bar health system in Galaxy, etc.

It would be so awesome to seranade Molyneux with this song if you got to interview him about Fable 4.

Having the ability to accidentally shart in Fable 2 is pretty much the peak of video game innovation, there is no way Fable 4 is gonna top this.

Fable 2 and the pikmin games

Fable 2 provided a few hours of mild enjoyment, but not much beyond that.

Looks like Metacritic abandoned this idea for now.  Probably for the best, I'm not comfortable with David Cage getting an 84 on anything in his life except an IQ test.
:lol
