you know i always wanted to dabble with the real thing without buying one of those 100$ plastic keyboards... did they ever invent a way to do so? maybe mame emulation?

There was Empress a few years back on the console side.

They haven't released any more console ones since then, probably because the PS2 is dead now.

There's been a few more Arcade versions after that though. The latest being beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem, I think? Came out in 2010.

Magus, these games would flex your tight boy hole and not give you the dignity of walking away on two legs.

I can casually play Expert on GH/RB but I tried Beatmania PS2 and couldnt even pass a few songs.
