Have to make another 13 hour drive early next week and then return later in the week. Give me your audio book or music tune recommendations for the drive so I don't fall asleep and kill myself.
And for bonus points when I get back, I will tell you whether you have good taste or not when I get back.
-
Load up on Planet Money, This American Life and Radio Lab episodes.
-
The Da Vinci Code audiobook or Stephen King's The Tommyknockers audiobook. Dave Matthew's Band Discography. Enjoy.

these: I'm sure you can get the audio only somewhere. You don't need to see them.

I thought it was known that I'm the resident Douglas Adams fanatic. :P
But if I hadn't already listened to these hundres of times, they would be a given.
Maybe I'll put on the Dirk Gently audiobooks. Only a real freak are into those two and I've only listened to them dozens of time by comparison.

i would say do this but you probably won't want to return it

The book of Mormon. Either one, really.
-
Book of Urantia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Urantia_Book) audiobook.

that's probably long enough for Game of Thrones (etc) audiobooks...although I can never stick with audio books, too damn slow compared to just reading the thing.
If you want to get your larnin' on, try the 'In Our Time' series of BBC podcasts. They address a vast range of topics, everything from the latest developments in quantum physics to medieval literature to archaeology to pop culture. The archives go back years, and literally every episode is guaranteed to make you smarter on the topic in question, even if you studied it at a college level. Having said that, it's approachable too, thanks to the masterful chairing by Melvyn Bragg (no intellectual slouch himself...).

They are great and I definitely recommend them to be anybody who hasn't listened to them but I'm nearly as big into Gervais as I am into Douglas Adams so I've listened to them many times also.
British humor.
