Title: Windows Live Messenger problem

A friend keeps having this problem with Windows Live Messenger - the option to share/send photos/files isn't showing up (sometimes it does, sometimes the option in the drop-down menu is grayed out).  We've gone through Firewall settings, made sure they are logged in as administrator, and now I am stumped.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Are you on the same exact version of LM?

seems several things can cause it, both of us signing out and back in fixed it
