So I figured I might as well turn on my 3ds for the first time since launch and do a system update so I can register and get my 20 free games. I figure since they haven't hacked it yet, the latest firmware can't be patching any security holes that haven't been shown to Nintendo yet, so might as well update.
but ummm...how do you even do a system update on the 3ds? I'm not seeing it.... ^^;

have no clue,but I was listening 8-4Play few min ago and they said that you just have to register in eshop
also if you used eshop before,you are good to go

caveat emptor: there are no free games
Nintendo swindles you yet again.

I can't find the eshop. I think you need to update the firmware for it to exist :lol

Yeah Bebpo, there's been like 2-3 updates since you last turned your system on. :lol
The update option is buried in the settings menu.
I haven't seen any option to register for anything in the e-Shop, either. 8-4 People could be talking about Japan since they live in Japan. Hey did you know that they live in Japan and translate Japanese games? In Japan?

I'm pretty sure you just have to link your 3DS to Club Nintendo, or some sort.

All you have to do is access the eshop once. System is automatically registered.
