Death, ceasing to exist scare the shit out of me.

I'm more afraid of modern medicine keeping my rotting carcass around long after my shelf life comes due.

other people being better at living than me.

I guess I'm probably afraid of both in equal measure.

This, exactly.

I've never even considered being afraid of life, that doesn't make sense. Life is possibly all the experience you will get, what use is it to be afraid of that?
To 'live' I guess you must live your life in a somewhat risky way- at least by my notion. That usually means it becomes unpredictable and you get hurt, live with pain etc. I mean it's entirely possible to live a comfortable life by just going to work, staying at home and playing videogames etc but I find it boring.
-
I think I'm describing more of an 'existential' pain about different paths, people etc.

I ain't scared! Come at me, bro!

When stuff in my immediate future looks daunting, life. When things are going well in life, death.
-
death is beautiful
eventually we'll all be floating space dust, together, forever.
