Would have been a better game if they'd just ejected the entire combat side of the game.

Post by: tiesto on August 22, 2011, 10:05:39 PM: Loved Dark Cloud 2, although the excessively long dungeons wore very thin and the villain was stupid. I liked the photo taking, Spheda, fishing, and most especially the world-building... reminded me a bit of classic Quintet games like Actraiser and SoulBlazer. I really want more RPG/world-building crossovers.

It likes to do this thing where it'll go into top-down mode when in battle but after the battle is done you need to see ahead of you but lol nope you need to move forward first! Then get into another skirmish 'cause you can't see.
