So I am reading through Battle of the Fang, and early on its already chock full of references to the machine spirits of the ships in the early fleet battles. I've read a lot of warhammer books and while theyre usually mentioned off-hand to hint at the general qualities of the weapon/machine- this book makes it sound like the machine spirits are actually capable of deciding to vent atmosphere and throw the crew into space. Is this just some quirk of the author?
I wonder if there's a short series focused around the Adeptus Mechanicus. It'd probably be pretty interesting.

There's a Mechanicum novel in the Horus Heresy series. Not quite there though so not sure if its what you're after but figured I'd throw that out there.

I have most of them I'll try and find it in "the pile". Thanks!

I love the art.
I also like how fleshed out it is as a universe as evidenced by http://wh40k.lexicanum.com (http://wh40k.lexicanum.com)

Finished Mechanicum as MAF's question had bothered me and it left me with even more damn questions as sometimes machine spirits were present and other times they didn't seem to be. I blame the Cult Mechanicum atheists present for their lack of faith in the Omnissiah. On the bright side, Titans and lots of them. :hyper

New Sisters of Battle book is out today I think? First one wasn't bad but the ending wrapped up a little too neatly. The first Grey Knights book had some sisters of battle too, but secondary of course.
