Is that enough for US$60 these days? I know the dollar is devalued and all, but...

I played the demo; the cutscenes were well-executed, but it's kind of hard to screw up pre-rendered anymore. The driving wasn't hitting it for me.

Personally I only buy a few games a year at $60 and those games either have a good mp side or an incredible length. Everything else is either bought used, gamefly'ed, or pirated

I had a fondness for the original driver way back in the day so when this bombs and hits budget prices I may pick it up. But yeah this is the kind of game that is a posterboy for the idea that its insane to charge $60 dollars for all new games. Even if its decent to good, its a franchise that has lost whatever relevance it once had and the last few editions were complete shit. Nobody in their right minds should pay $60 for it.

I haven't played a driver since I played I Driver 2 and they tried to do a tacked on GTA thing.  It was so fucking terrible.  The first Driver is fucking ace though.
