He only seems to care about calories. I don't care if its less than 500 calories if it still gives me painful intestinal action.
well there goes my theory

If you're gonna start ragging on me, I'm gonna start mentioning the fact that I can afford real heroin (not that I do it, but I can) and that you can only afford a cheap synthetic substitute only fit for recreational use by dirty poors.

I know the "herp a derp you can't have a good meal unless it's $20 and covers 3 centimeters of the plate herp a derp" brigade will be here soon. Laugh it up cigarillos, I've got free breadsticks
yeah fuck dennys
You guys are obsessed with this place, if they ever open here I will have no choice but to go there thanks to all the free Bore publicity.Because PD a long long long time ago called it a high class place to take a girl for a fancy date when it is basically fast food italian food.
And sometimes I want a nice Italian meal, priced within my budget. Served in an environment where I can chill out and feel at home.

Aren't there any good mom-and-pop Italian restaurants by you guys or am I just spoiled living in the tri-state area?Tons by PD and I. Downtown Ann Arbor is probably the best place for non-chain nice resterants in the whole state.

Ill eat Olive Garden- if one of my friends wants to go ill fuckin go cause half of eating out is eating out with someone you dont hate. Eating out alone is shitty- even if its someplace decent.

Fuck you guys with good mom and pop places around you. Houston has great food if you want to travel inside the city. But anywhere outside the 610 loop is 90% chains and fast food. Bleh.
There's some places like that in Dallas. One is well north of downtown and features all the cobblestone roads and blocky buildings you'd expect from a real city center, but it's abutted on one side by a major tollroad and one the other by huge corporate campuses.

We get those manufactured retail/residential communities outside in the suburbs. The urban village I live in became part of Seattle back in the late 1800s. Very different and full of urban density alongside single family homes that have been there forever.
Arcade Fire's The Suburbs was about when they lived in Houston. True story. Not sure if serious. Never heard the song so I don't know.

well the whole album, just a random meaningless fact i thought i'd shoot out.
Edit: I'm like that with shitty food and Kraft Dinner, I know it's awful but can't help myself.
Cheesy Hashbrown Hamburger Helper is like the most awful for you delicious wtf foodstuff ever
I've never had Hamburger Helper, my mom refused to buy it.SMH
I've never had Hamburger Helper, my mom refused to buy it.SMH
Some girl here at work said a few hours ago that her mom used to refuse to let her lick the cake batter and cookie batter off the mixer and bowl when she was little. WTF? Way to ruin a kid's childhood.
No wonder you were home schooled. She sounds insane.???
PD at least say your mom bought you Kraft mac and cheese where the pasta was shaped like cartoon characters. That was always awesome.
i always knew there was something off about youspoiler (click to show/hide)I hate mac and cheese[/spoiler[close]
wtf as a kid taste means shit. Having pasta shaped like bart simpson is way more important.
speaking of shitty chains, i decided to go and use my $5 macaroni grill gift card today for lunch. "hmmm mushroom ravioli; i bet it's kind of nasty but serviceable. i'll get that!" well guess what it costs FOURTEEN FUCKING DOLLARS. and yes it tastes pretty shitty and isn't that big of a portion either. i used to think i was spending a little more at good restaurants but it was worth it for the quality & originality. now i know better - i'm actually spending less on something that tastes WAY better when i don't eat at a chain. FUCK suburban dining, fuck it to hell.I haven't been to the macaroni grill in a long time before their portions kept getting smaller and smaller. The only reason I used to go was that I got obnoxiously huge portions of barely average food for about bucks. But last time I went everything was at least like 12 dollars and portions were much smaller. Fuck that.
There was Sonic spaghetti-os too
Omaha is the same way. After vising there for the last 8 years, I'm still not used to "nice places" being in strip malls.
I don't think I've ever been to Olive Garden. Is it really that bad? Some of their commercials look pretty good.
hole in the wall mexican joints in Houston :drool
I was talking to someone at work, and I pretty much said that I dont think the 'trash food' of my youth will ever not be a part of me. I fucking LOVE a bowl of hamburger helper, a trip to Dennys, or a log of Summer Sausage. I know its full of bullshit- but goddamnit MEMORIES N SHIT DELICIOUS
Nope. But Diana swears they're delicious. she also swears by snails.hole in the wall mexican joints in Houston :drool
Do you have any experience with chapulines? I've been wanting to try them so bad.
I think I could get by on Steak Ummm's alone
And I've been to Olive Garden once and had the Chicken Marsala. It wasn't bad at all but I prefer the potato to be oven roasted instead of mashed in a Marsala. Living 45 minutes from Boston provides better choices though, in regards to Italian food (doesn't even have to be around North End).
<snip>
At Olive Garden the potatoes with Chicken Marsala aren't mashed, they are eighthed and deep fried.
Turns out there's no olive garden in Hawaii :(
What's my next best choice? I see there's a Red Lobster, and possibly an Applebee's.
What about chillis? I feel like my trip isn't complete with eating at some sub par family restaurant.
Turns out there's no olive garden in Hawaii :(

Technically wouldn't it be the best place to go to Red Lobsters? It's right near the ocean

Shrimp trucks in Haliewa on the North Shore.
Going to Milan, should I eat at Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill?

Watching cable news because you want to be informed is like going to Olive Garden because you want to live in Italy.

I miss the Olive Garden. When they shut all their doors in Toronto I shed a tear for deliciously salty pastas and addictive breadsticks.:cancry
Mustachioed Man spent the last 3 weeks complaining that there aren't any Olive Gardens in Dhahran anymore.
Chain restaurant lobsters aren't going to be found locally sweetie. They are probably "lobsters" cheaply made in captivity and frozen in some freezer somewhere for 10 years.Turns out there's no olive garden in Hawaii :(

PD I hope you take your new girl to downtown Ann Arbor to the nice real (aka non-chain!) restaurants you have locally here.

Ah I've been to Mani, it was cool but no Olive GardenReally? It just opened this year Mani is actually real italian at least.
ill eat at olive garden, and then feel sick because im old and my body cant handle that level of sodium carbs in one go anymore
spam sushi sounds awesome
Do they even sell spam musubi in Japan?Spam dishes are served in Okinawan restaurants, and the supermarket across the street from work had them regularly, but I've only had them when visiting Hawaii and occasionally at Casa Chronovore.
