Title: Ok, who DOESN'T own Alpha Protocol and has a PC?
Post by: Bebpo on September 22, 2011, 10:45:14 PM: AP is $2 on Steam. It's also an AWESOME Metal Gear Solid WRPG with hilarious dialogue and great branching plot to be CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE SPY-AGENT MAN.

If you meet the two requirements in the title, post here I and will GIVE YOU THE GAME FOR FREE because AP is awesome and I'm not a dirty poor so at $2 a copy I can gift one of my recent PC games to my buddies who still haven't played it.

Fucking loved it. Janky, goofy fun. Plus it has one of the best branching stories ever. Every decision seems actually to change the game in some noticeable way.

I like how on the last mission when you break out and pick up all your gear you magically get your beard back as if it was in the dufflebag and Mike glued it back on.

No it doesn't...

More so than most games I can think of these days. Levels will vary, conversations will vary and bonuses will vary. Mass Effect doesn't count cause the shit you decide only matters in the next game and decisions in Fallout just contribute to a mildly different, boring slideshow ending. Can`t comment on the new Deus Ex thoug yet cause I haven`t played it.

Yeah, this is my plan, too. The trouble is, the PC version will actually be patched more completely than the 360 version, just because of MS policy on title updates.

I think there was one patch to remove DRM from the retail versions six months post-release. Nothing to fix any problems.

AP is great, though. The entire middle section does feel variable based on your choices. The last act feels rushed and makes some of those choices superficial to the outcome.
