I just read you don't even get to play as the X-Men. Here comes the failboat, toot toot!
where are the reviews?
I am DEATHLY curious, let me know
Holy crap this is out?
Here's your custom soundtrack, motherfuckers
spoiler (click to show/hide)You will find it ironic that the song is rapping about the X-Men when you don't actually play as the X-Men[close]
Did that Sk & Epic lawsuit ever have a public resolution?
In July 2011, Silicon Knights received nearly 3 million in provincial funding to improve its technology, create new products and become a self-publishing company. Denis Dyack, president of Silicon Knights, said the investment will allow the company to improve it's technology, hire 80 new people while keeping 97 current jobs and allow the company to become "self sustaining." In September of 2011, after completing the X-Men : Destiny game, Silicon Knights laid off 15 employees, and has not yet come through on their commitment to hire new staff as was ear-marked to be done with the free taxpayers dollars they have received.
Too bad that fat bastard is banned from GAF, I'd love to see him defend this game.
...I just bought this game.
that's 2 copies of XMen and zero copies of ICO
all is right in the world
Fuck ICO, you're the reason we have escort missions
Haha, they couldnt even be bothered to animate Gambit. You show up at his place with a box and he puts it on the table, sits down- after talking a while he says well lets see what we have- and he just kind of pauses, never opening the box, then it goes into him talking about what he saw in the box.
Fuck Ico, that game doesn't have moral choices that drastically affect the game:

I'M SO HYPE FOR THIS
Dyack believes that the traditional marketing model, which relies heavily on previews of unfinished games, "does not work" anymore. He characterizes it as a holdover from a bygone era. "Our industry started very much like the toy industry, where they put things out as experiments," he observed, noting that games were far less expensive to develop in those days, not to mention demand "far exceeded supply."
Denis Dyack is such a loser :lol

No, previews do work and help drum up interest in an upcoming game. problem is, Silicon Knights make awful games
In years past, Silicon Knights boss Denis Dyack has railed against critics writing "previews" that feel more like reviews of what's still a half-finished product. How ironic that his company and Activision have just forced me to do exactly that.http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/28/x-men-destiny-review/
You know what is worse looking that this game on the ps3/360, the same game from SK on Wii.

I wonder if the Canadian government will give some cash to other developers, like Ubisoft Montreal?
Uh, of course they do. Why do you think so many major third-parties have Canadian branches? It's not for the fine weather and local cuisine, I assure you.

I've seen N64 games that look better than that Wii version...Jesus christ, that's what I was thinking. At best it's like those N64/PS1 -> DC up-ports that got nothing but a slight resolution bump and a bit of filtering.
guess who bought a wii game?:lol
It should be called "Guess who bought a shitty licensed game?"
Does the game ever explain why you can constantly swap powers or why dressing as Wolverine's doofy cousin makes you stronger?
Finished!
Back to Redbox you go.
Finished!
Back to Redbox you go.
how shit was the game?
What character were you? kawaii, football, or backpack?
That said, depending on who they kept, it may be possible they can make a decent small game now.
they've got 25 people left :lol
you cant even make a cellphone game with that
